The phone second screen turns your phone into a private second display for Invisipilot. Keep the interview on your computer and read what the interviewer is saying, and the answer as it arrives, on your phone. Pairing takes a QR code and one tap on your computer. There is no app to install and no sign-in on the phone. It works with the desktop app and with a live session on the website, and it is available to every signed-in account.
Why it matters
- Your eyes stay on the screen you are sharing instead of jumping to a notes window.
- A second screen is easy to read at a glance: large text, and a separate Answer and Code tab.
- If the overlay misses something, you can ask for an answer from your phone without touching your computer.
- It is a calm way to keep the answers in view during a long technical or panel interview.
How it works
Scan the QR code
Open Invisipilot on your computer, tap Phone second screen, and scan the code with your phone camera. The code works once and expires after two minutes.
Tap Allow on your computer
Your computer asks you to confirm the phone before anything is shown, so nobody joins by accident.
Read live on your phone
The phone shows the interviewer's live transcript, then the answer as it streams in, with separate Answer and Code tabs and text size controls that your phone remembers.
Ask from the phone
Tap Answer now or Add detail for spoken questions, or Capture, Solve and Resolve for coding questions. Your computer runs it exactly as if you had pressed the button there.
What you get
The phone page opens from the QR code in the browser. There is nothing to install and no account on the phone.
Answers and code are shown large, with text size and line-wrap settings that your phone remembers.
See what the interviewer is saying as they say it. When they start a new question, the old transcript clears and the previous answer stays until the new one arrives.
Answer now, Add detail, Capture, Solve and Resolve work from the phone, so you do not have to reach for the keyboard.
Nothing from the session is kept on the phone after it ends, and you can disconnect at any time.
Questions, answered
Do I need to install an app on my phone?
No. The phone opens a web page from the QR code. There is nothing to install, and you do not sign in on the phone.
Does it work with the desktop app and the website?
Yes. Tap the Phone second screen button in the desktop app overlay or in a live session on the website, scan the code with your phone and tap Allow on your computer.
Does it cost extra?
There is no separate payment for the phone second screen. It shows the session that is already running on your computer, which uses your normal session time.
Is it allowed in my interview?
That depends on the interview. Follow the rules of each interview and don't use it where other devices aren't allowed.
What happens to my data?
While the phone is paired, the live transcript line and your answers pass from your computer to your phone through Invisipilot's servers. The pairing ends when you disconnect, end the session, or after a few hours, and nothing from the session is kept on the phone afterwards.
